Finite Dropdrown values?

Hello

I'm was wondering, if it's possible to make a list of dropdown values available.

But every time one value is used, it's removed from the list of possible options for the following row.

Number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...

If I then use number 1, it is not possible to select 1 for the next row.

If I then use the number 4, it is not possible for the next row to use 1+4 etc.

I really hope this is possible - thanks in advance!

There has been conversation over the last few years for logic driven selections to automate this process in things like forms. There can be some workarounds, but everything to date has been fairly clunky, and people are being encouraged to enter enhancement requests:

To add your vote! Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea(If it hasn't been added already)when you have a moment.

You would be able to do something, depending on how you are trying to use the data, that would check a box if it was a duplicate, and that would be able to highlight the row via conditional formatting, which would at least alert you to the problem as you are entering the new line.

If my answer helped you, please be sure to mark it as Accepted to help future learners locate the information.

What type of plan are you on? Certain plan types require that a system admin give you permission to access group management.

You would create the sheet first, then you can click on "Forms" in the top right corner of the new sheet to create the form.

If you need a bunch of the same columns, You can "Save as new" the existing sheet and then just delete whatever you don't need from each sheet.

I have a sheet that I am populating row one with data inputted using an intake form (Form1). Yes. The "@row" piece of the formula is looking for the cell within the row of the formula. So on any row where the meta columns are blank, "@row" will also return blank.

Try this instead:
