NEW! Dashboards Design Enhancements
Hi Community,
We are very excited to announce a set of dashboard design enhancements that will allow you to customize your dashboard more than ever before.
Custom background colors for dashboards:Choose from a full hex palette of colors when setting up your dashboard background. This feature increases the design flexibility of dashboards and enables you to match your brand colors perfectly.
Custom background colors for widgets:Choose from a full hex palette of colors when setting up your widget background. Your widget colors can be the same or different from the canvas background. Note this feature will not change the background color of a widget's title or the title widget. Instead, you're able to change those title colors independently.
Image widget display settings:Choose how the image widget displays an image on your dashboard with 'Fill,' 'Fit,' and 'Actual Size' settings, as well as the option to keep or remove an image's margin.
Expanded font library:Find the right font for your dashboard or tailor your design to a specific audience with an expanded set of web-safe fonts to choose from, including Helvetica, Monaco, Courier, and more.
These features are available for Trial, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.

Thanks for sharing@Jason DelValle!
Love the changes, especially removing image margins which is a step in the direction of optimizing dashboard real estate.
Would be great to be able to set widget background colors independently rather than at the dashboard level.

These are nice enhancement and thanks.
We also need improvements for Chart widgets in general. For example, today the data value labels have no formatting capabilities at all. Users cannot set how to display the value labels - inside, center, outside, auto. Also there are not formatting options - font, size, color etc.

Thank you and the team for making these updates - time committed to refining the dashboard experience is always time well spent. I totally support tackling quality-of-life changes like these :)
If it hasn't come up already, I would also suggest finer-tuned controls around layout, things like margins between widgets, padding, kerning, etc. It would go a long way to make dashboards feel better. If you're looking beyond formatting, a total next level is to introduce interactive slicers into the mix. Would allow dashboards to be designed around a single frame, where program-level metrics can live at the same scale around project-level metrics. Would help alleviate visual density from reporting widgets.
Thanks again!

It's always good to have new tools for flexibility.
Will these updated include the option to "force" certain colors in graphs to specific values?, I've had issues with charts changing their colors automatically.

Are we working on expanding the dashboard to full screen, I'm sure the loss of valuable screen space has been raised in the past?
Cheers.
Forever forwards Backwards never.
