Dynamic View Comment Emails
We use Dynamic View for our sales force and customer service reps. They each have their own respective view that is connected back to the main sheet. Our design department uses the main sheet to process incoming requests via a form. We have run into an issue with links in automated emails using the "@[email protected]" feature and the workflow automation. The @ emails link back to the main page and not Dynamic View. The same goes with the work flow emails because there isn't an option to just show the new comment AND Information regarding the request without the page link too. Is there another work around for this? We have some 1099's on our salesforce that shouldn't really be seeing other peoples account requests.

Yes, if you combine it with the Latest Comment Column.

You could change it to the Message Only option and maybe combine it with Placeholders to include the relevant information they can work on in Dynamic View.

Nevermind. I just read about adding a "Latest Comment Row" in the Sheet. I can then reference that row as a placeholder and allow the message to contain the relivant request info AND the comment.

No, it currently isn't possible to share the Data Shuttle workflow configuration with another account. The set-up for that workflow is associated with one account. (Please let our Product team know of your feature request by filling in this form, here!)<\/a><\/p> That said, many team members will be able to trigger<\/em> that workflow, depending on what that trigger is. For example, if the workflow is based on an attachment, any user can upload the attachment for the workflow. Does that make sense?<\/p>
