Connecting two DataTables to one sheet

Hi there,

I was trying to set-up DataTables as a replacer for my current set-up of DataShuttling data from OneDrive to a Smartsheet sheet, then DataMeshing it to my target sheets.

Now I connected one DataTable to my target sheet which worked fine. I tried to connect another DataTable to the same target sheet but I cannot seem to do that, it seems like only one DataTable can be connected to a sheet at the same time. I could not find any information or explanation on the help pages. Can someone tell me whether I'm doing something wrong or this is just a limitation from Smartsheet?

    From everything I know, you can have multiple sheets connected to a single data table, but only one data table connected to a sheet at a time.

There currently isn't a way to overlay an Outlook Calendar on top of a Smartsheet Calendar; you can do the reverse, publish dates from Smartsheet into Outlook.<\/a><\/p>

You are not missing anything. This is how DV works with dropdowns unfortunately. My work around in the past is to create an other option in the drop down, user chooses save. Then have logic built for a text field that appears so the user can input the values not present in dropdown. <\/p>
