Why is my global update to add profile data coming in blank in tests?
Hi all,
I'm trying to make a global update to add a new profile data point (created date) to metadata and summaries. I've tried doing it with both the system created date column and a helper column replicating the created date column (read in another discussion that I should try that).
Both result in an incomplete data row (the name of the field appears as a row, but with no other data (and no cell link to the data point from the intake sheet).
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

@warrenaSometimes the test function can be a little wonky. It's hard to say for sure why its not showing up because your setup looks right. If it was me, I would apply to global update to only one project and then investigate. Just make sure when you go to the next step you only check one project to update.

the screen after you do the test is this
When you hit apply update it will take you to the next and final screen and there will be the option to select the projects you want to apply the update to. Select only one and hit apply.
This is after you do the test

Thanks@Samuel Mueller. When I get to the next step, I don't see an ability to select only one project to try it on. (I did select only one to run the test on). I just see "Apply Update." Am I missing a step?

Thanks@Samuel Mueller! I ran it for one project, and while it shows Success next to the project and the template, I got a pop up error.
It does appear to have added the row to the metadata sheet though, with the data attached!
Not sure what to make of that error, though.

@warrenaare you the primary lead and the owner of the summary sheet? May want to double check that the data got added to the "Project Rollup Summary Sheet" too.

@Samuel MuellerThat's the ticket. I'm an admin on those sheets, but not the owner, and the update didn't push through there. I'll see if I can figure out how to get bulk changed to owner on those, and try the rest of the global update after that.
Thanks so much for your help!

@warrenasee if making you the owner works. Likely the cause for that fail. Or have the owner/primary lead create the global update.

No, it currently isn't possible to share the Data Shuttle workflow configuration with another account. The set-up for that workflow is associated with one account. (Please let our Product team know of your feature request by filling in this form, here!)
That said, many team members will be able to trigger that workflow, depending on what that trigger is. For example, if the workflow is based on an attachment, any user can upload the attachment for the workflow. Does that make sense?
