Hello,

We are excited to introduce the Smartsheet Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Maturity Assessment, a 10-minute, 18-question assessment that helps pinpoint your organization's ability to manage projects and portfolios through the lens of people, process, and technology. It will also help you identify the best improvement scenarios that can validate your PPM investments.

How does the assessment work? It evaluates your PPM maturity level according to six key PPM disciplines (a.k.a PPM jobs-to-be-done): Strategic Planning, Demand Intake, Portfolio Prioritization, Project Sourcing and Planning, Project/Work Execution, and Portfolio Reporting.

The results from each discipline are compiled into your overall maturity score based on three levels of maturity: Initial, Defined, and Optimized. To learn more about the Smartsheet PPM Maturity Model, what each level means, and what you can learn from it, check outthis blog post.

    Am I the only person who cannot access the PPM Maturity Assessment Tool? I have reached out to Smartsheet Support, who provided me with several troubleshooting steps to take, which did not correct the issue.

    My experience with trying to use the tool with Chrome and Firefox, in July and August, 2023, is this: I go to the starting web page at://www.santa-greenland.com/ppm-maturity-assessmentand click the Start Assessment button.

    That takes me to this web page://www.santa-greenland.com/contact/ppm-maturity-assessment?fts=ppm-maturity-assessmentwith the PPM Maturity Assessment form, where I enter my personal/ professional details.

    Below that form is the Take the 10-minute assessment button. When I click that, it takes me back to the starting page//www.santa-greenland.com/ppm-maturity-assessment.

    These are the troubleshooting steps advised, and which I performed:

    To resolve the behavior you are experiencing please attempt the following:

    • Update your browser to the newest version.
    • Attempt in a different browser, like Edge, Firefox, or Chrome.
    • Attempt in an incognito browser. If the issue is resolved in the incognito instance, please follow the steps below:
    • If you are using Windows ensure TLS Is enabled. I have provided the steps below:
    • Attempt off your VPN, if applicable. If the errors don’t occur when you access Smartsheet while not on the network or VPN, it’s possible that server or security settings are blocking network activity and causing access issues. To ensure access to Smartsheet, ask your IT group to add the following to your company’s allowlist:

    If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please provide a HAR file. I have provided the steps below:

    Generate a Log for Troubleshooting.

    Then I was told that the Smartsheet Support team couldn't help me and that once an update on my issue is provided, Michelle Hackett wil reach out with that.

    Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

    From your description of the problem above, it looks like you might have opted out of all Smartsheet cookies. If you can enable cookies in your browser, this should work. Do try this and let us know if you are still facing issues accessing the assessment. Thank you.

    Thanks. Just tried it. After I enter my info and click on the start button, it takes me back to the assessment home page. It's a continual loop.

    I've cleared cache, allowed cookies, logged out, and back in. Still not working. I'll try again later today to see if I can get through.

    Thank you for the suggestion, Darla. I actually did check my settings in all browsers, and verfied that all cookies from any Smartsheet site are allowed, which is not correcting the continual loop issue.

    I also verified that insecure content is allowed, pop-ups and redirects are allowed, on all Smartsheet sites.

    I don't know what else to try.
