Domain Management and User Auto Provisioning are now decoupled in Admin Center
Hi Community,
Previously, User Auto Provisioning (UAP) and Domain Management were coupled in the Smartsheet Admin user experience. We decoupled the user interface so that SysAdmins can allow policies like UAP to be managed separate from managing domains. This is the first of a multi-phased effort to make user based policies more scalable.
Please note that with this change:
- All existing UAP functionality and limitations still apply, including the fact that UAP will apply to all domains and not to a subset of domains.
- When a customer adds a domain in Domain Management, they must take three separate actions to register, validate, and activate the domain.
This change applies to SysAdmins on Enterprise plans or higher in the Commercial US and Commercial EU instances of Smartsheet.
