What's the best way to get information from 2 sets of users into a single row?

I have a from that collects about 10 fields from people making requests using a form. Then another group will evaluate these requests to ensure all the information is correct. It's currently a second sheet with a form.

I would like to combine it all into one sheet. I know there can't be multiple forms per row. How could I do this?

    Hello@CatSusk!

I recommend using automation to send update requests to the evaluators to review the data and submit their evaluation -- which allows the evaluator to quickly update the row they need to evaluate.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for your response. I am using that feature in a slightly different way.

The reason why they they were originally 2 different sheets with forms is the information is very complicated and some users aren't familiar with it. The forms allow for help text and longer field names. For example, "Needs CA PNB pre-review (certification by email from commissioner)".

I'm trying to choose between having these users create a new entry on a different sheet, so that they can use a form, or make a zillion columns with complicated headers in one sheet. How would you make this decision?

    You’re welcome.

when I have sheets that are complicated, I usually color code areas so users can quickly scroll through and find the data pertaining to them.

I also separate the data into reports so users can just edit from there. for me, it’s just easier to handle bigger sheets that way.

    hope this helps!

    Hi,

I hope you're well and safe!

To add to SteyJ's excellent advice/answer.

If you have something unique to tie the rows together, we can return the information from the second sheet to the main one.

Do you have something that could be used for it?

You could use the URL-Query feature to code the identifier to the form.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Just a note here to say that based on the numerous reports to Support of customer impact, this change has been rolled back to the previous Milestone behaviour: tasks that have 0 duration and start at the end of the day will stay<\/strong> at the end of the day instead of moving over to the next day. <\/p>
