Automation not Automating!

Hello.

I'm using the Smartsheet Individual Productivity Hub template and I can't get the Completed Tasks automated workflow to work.

I've checked the automation and the condition is set that if the status is changed to complete, the action is to move the rows to another sheet. The destination sheet has been set.

But, when I change an action to complete, nothing happens. If I got and manually run the workflow, it moves all rows.

What am I missing?!

Thanks in advance.

    Hey@KatieDi

You have to set a condition so only the rows with the Status complete will move to the next sheet.

At the moment, because there is no condition, when a row changes to Complete, it will move all rows over to the other sheet.

Try adding a condition like that, Where Status... has any of... completed.

    This should solve the problem.

The move rows automation sometimes takes a minute or two so try and save the page, leave and open it again.. usually works for me.

    Hope that helps!

    Amazing Itai, thank you.

That was all it needed and it's now working.

Thank you for coming back to me so quickly.

    Have a great day.

Want to practice working with formulas directly in Smartsheet?

Check out the公式手册模板!
Hi

I believe this formula, entered in the TITLE (Formula) column would work for you:

=IF(ISBLANK([INT / DOM / TEMP / NG]@row), "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/110008/", TITLE$1)

It creates this:

"image.png"

You start with an IF

For the logical expression you use ISBLANK

ISBLANK([INT / DOM / TEMP / NG]@row) is checking that the cell in the column INT / DOM / TEMP / NG is blank

If that is true it puts in "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/110008/" (ie nothing)

If it is false it puts in the value in the TITLE column, but instead of TITLE@row, it pulls just from row 1 because of the $1

Hello, I am trying to create a count that both matches one of 4 specific project initiatives and shows approved in another column. @Bob Schweighart you just need the COUNTIFS formula and put those 2 criterion in it. Are they distinct counts for the 4 different projects? If so, that is easier. There we go. The [SO] column looks like it is being manually populated which is storing the data as numerical data, but the LEFT function outputs text.

Insert a column on the reference sheet and use

=SO@row + "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/110008/"
