Using "Created by" as "Assigned to" for Resource Management
I'm using aweb formto collect vacation request, etc. and added aSystem-generated columnto automatically add theCreated by. The form is only available to registered Smartsheet users.
Now I want to see these absences in the Resource View and to do so I need anAssigned tocolumn. Is it possible to somehow connect the two columns? I assume if I ask the users to fill the Assigned to column with their name manually, it wouldn't work either, correct?
Or is there another way to get information collected by a web form into the resource view without manual processing of each row of data?

Currently, there isn't a way to link the "Created By" and "Assigned To" columns or use a system column in Resource Management. You could include "Assigned To" on the form, which would populate the row so there would be no need to manually edit the sheet data.
