Smartsheet-Outlook Integration
I love the way this add-in speeds up the process of updating a Smartsheet row with email text and attachments.
One gripe, though, finding the row that I want is not simple since I can only select full Smartsheets, which may have a large number of rows, many of which are not currently active..
Am I missing something? It would be really helpful to be able to select a report (or to use a filter) to remove all the inactive rows. The search works well, but sometimes I can't remember exactly what to search for, and it would be better to only have a list of 5 rows to choose from rather than 200. Would help on load time too...

Hi Andrew,
When you have a moment, please submit a Product Enhancement Request using the form under Quick links on the right to let our Product team know that you'd like to see this added to the Outlook Integration.
As you submit your request, let them know what you mean by "inactive row," as Smartsheet doesn't have a feature to make rows inactive. Typically, people will apply formatting to their sheet to give the appearance of inactive or complete (or will use a checkbox/flag column), but Smartsheet as an application doesn't interpret this as an "inactive" status.

Sadly, no formatting that is in the sheet is visible in the Outlook add-in. No grouping, highlighting, colors, bold text, font size... nothing. All you can view in the add-in is a flat list the primary column, all in the same font and background color - effectively it is the same view you would get from an Update Request when you open the row you want to attach to.
So, please make the view in the Outlook add-in look something like the view in SS, so that people can find what they're looking for efficiently.

There currently isn't a way to overlay an Outlook Calendar on top of a Smartsheet Calendar; you can do the reverse, publish dates from Smartsheet into Outlook.

You are more than welcome!

Glad to hear that it worked for your present use-case.
