Decimal Point Issue
Hi All,
When entering a simple Children Sum which includes a text string to sum numbers in the column below. For example ="Capex Total: £" + SUM([PO Total]3:[PO Total]113)
I'm finding that the numbersafterthe decimal point either show only one number or lots of numbers depending upon the number of cells the formula has to calculate. Using the increase and decrease decimal buttons has no effect?
Using the formula without the text string i.e. SUM([PO Total]3:[PO Total]113) works correctly.
Has anyone else found this problem or could it be an issue with my sheet?
The screenshot shows only parent rows which are all collapsed.

Allie ✭Hi Scott,
I believe this is because only numeric cells will be impacted by increase/decrease decimal. If the value is text, the "decimal" is interpreted as a period. Would using a ROUND formula be a solution for you?
="Capex Total: £" + ROUND(SUM([PO Total]3:[PO Total]113), 2)
