Can I edit the URL for a web form?
I see that the URL is editable when you click in the box where you can copy and send the URL to someone. Is it only editable so you can copy it, or can I edit the URL to be more descriptive and shorter?
If so, how does it get saved?

Tim Meeks ✭✭✭✭✭✭It is only so you can copy it. I'm not aware of a shortened version of the URL. I would sugggest copying the URL and putting the URL behind a hyperlinked word.

Travis EmployeeSmartsheet does not allow you to edit the URL but there are free online services that will shorten and customize URLs. I did a quick Google search and foundhttp://bit.do/which will shorten and customize URLs for free.
Other services likehttp://goo.gl(Googles URL shortener) will shorten the URL but does not support customizing the URL.

Tracey Siepser ✭✭✭✭Can my vote be added for a built in Smartsheet link shortener? I need to add a published view link to a form description and can't mask it behind a URL. I'd rather it show the Smartsheet domain in the address but it's almost unreadable with the full link. A built in link shortener button would be very helpful!

You can edit the web form link to prefill some of the web form, example below:
