I would love to see Charts being used with categorical data instead of just numerical data. The count function is critical to what our clients want to see. Also, it would be awesome if we could embed the charts we create into the Dashboards instead of just providing a link to the chart.

Tracy,

Thanks for the input and not sure if you knew about the new Charts widget. You can now create and embed a Chart as a widget in a Dashboard. Edit the dashboard, click on + Add Widget and you will see the charts widget.

There currently isn't a way to overlay an Outlook Calendar on top of a Smartsheet Calendar; you can do the reverse, publish dates from Smartsheet into Outlook.<\/a><\/p>

You are not missing anything. This is how DV works with dropdowns unfortunately. My work around in the past is to create an other option in the drop down, user chooses save. Then have logic built for a text field that appears so the user can input the values not present in dropdown. <\/p>
