Subtask Dependencies Error Message "REF"
I am getting a "REF" message in the subtask cell for Predecessor column.
For example:
Line 3 Start SF, start date: 8/18/15; end date: 8/18/15 = I entered the number 2
Line 4 Update SF, start date: 8/19/15; end date:9/17/15 = I entered the number 3
Line 5 Review SF, start date: 8/19/15; end date: 9/16/15 = I entered the number 4 and I get the "REF" error message
Line 5 is where I am having the issue and I do not understand. Please assist, thanks.

Is line 4 a Parent Row? That would cause a #REF error. A predecessor needs to be a row with no children.

Christina, could you show us a screenshot of your sheet and point out where you are getting this error?

I hope you're well and safe!

I can't see any rows in your screenshot that should be colored differently. Parent rows can't be changed.

Can you share more screenshots with the conditional formatting options used on a few child rows? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.

I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Best,
