Merge Add-on for Google: Formatting Options?

I'm using the Merge Add-on to generate email messages and PDF documents from my Smartsheet.
While my sheet has many columns of dates in the MM/DD/YY format (which is good for managing the data), I'd like my documents to be in the 'monthname dd, yyyy' format. Are there formatting codes for the merge fields, or is there another way to do this?

Hi Larry,
Unfortunately, I don't think there is, but you could maybe format it in another column in the sheet.
Would that work?
Have a fantastic weekend!

Hi Andrée,
Thanks for the response! About formatting in another column in the sheet - I'm new to Smartsheet, but I am not able to find a way to format a date in a single column differently. It thought it was globally tied to my location settings and not customizable within a sheet?

Happy to help!
Try this.
The Date should be changed to the column name of the date that you want to reformat. You can change the order to get the date in the way that you want.
=MONTH([email protected]) + "/" + DAY([email protected]) + "/" + 年([email protected])
The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.
=MONTH([email protected]) + "/" + DAY([email protected]) + "/" + 年([email protected])
Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
Would that work?
Best,
Andrée

No, it currently isn't possible to share the Data Shuttle workflow configuration with another account. The set-up for that workflow is associated with one account. (Please let our Product team know of your feature request by filling in this form, here!)<\/a><\/p>
If you are looking to transfer workflows because a user has left the organization, you could potentially update the Primary email address associated with the account that owns the configurations. This will allow you to gain access to the Data Shuttle workflows from the new email. Keep in mind this would need to be an email that does not currently have a Smartsheet account.
