Web Content Widget Not Working (Adobe XD, Prezi)
I'm trying to create some supporting graphics in Adobe XD to embed on my dashboard to make it nicer looking! However, when I try to add them to my dashboard with the Web Content Widget, I just get an error message that says the urls are invalid. They are https:// urls provided by the respective platforms.
The Smartsheet site has some short steps on how to embed from either of these sources, but they seem out of date, reference buttons or labels that don't exist in the current iterations of both platforms.
Is it just me? Is the Web Content Widget working at all? This would have been a really nice solution to the nigh-illegible level of image compression Smartsheet wreaks on uploaded image files. I've wasted hours trying to make a nice-looking dashboard and then to fix this.
Thanks Smartsheet Community!

Hi,
Have you followed the guides below step by step? I've had a few clients that had issues getting it to work but most of the times it was the wrong version or a typo.
Did that solve it?
If it doesn't work, and If you haven’t already, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team.Smartsheet Support Team
I hope that helps!

Hi Andrée, as Ialready said in my post, those instructions are out of date and reference things that don't exist in the latest version of Adobe XD. I'm posting specifically because the Smartsheet site was not helpful, nor was googling, or countless trial and error attempts.
To be specific, in the Smartsheet instructions, "Click theShare iconin the upper-right corner." In the latest version of Adobe XD, there is not a share icon in the upper right corner. There is a separate share menu tab. "3. ClickPublish Prototype," and "5. Click theiframe > icon," there is no "publish prototype" there are Publish Link options underShareincluding Prototype, Presentation, and Development Design. There is noiframeunder any of the other link generation options and pasting any of the link types into a Smartsheet Web Content Widgetdoes not work.It results in an incorrect url error.
I have made a support request yesterday before I posted this. I haven't heard anything back yet! Here's hoping they can resolve this very specific issue.

Apologies for my sassy comment Andrée, I was frustrated after trying everything I could think of, but it was uncalled for as you are just trying to help.
内容support responded, acknowledging their instructions are out of date and that they will see to updates.
I think I've identified that the problem for me is actually a software permission through IT, so for most users (who know where this feature lives in Adobe XD or can discern with a bit of trial and error) this feature will work for them.

No worries!
Glad that you found the reason for it not working.
What was the permission that was causing it not to work?
Have a fantastic weekend!

Hi Andrée, the feature/permissions needed to embed in Smartsheet from Adobe XD is called Publish Services: below is a link to Adobe's support page regarding it.
So if a Smartsheet user's company IT has enabled sharing restrictions on their Adobe products, the Web Content Widget on Smartsheet will not be able to embed from Adobe XD.
Thanks, you have a great weekend, too!

There currently isn't a way to overlay an Outlook Calendar on top of a Smartsheet Calendar; you can do the reverse, publish dates from Smartsheet into Outlook.<\/a><\/p>
