Can I use a form to complete a partially-completed row?
I know forms are used to add data to a sheet, but can a form be used to complete/edit a row that is already filled in?

L_123 ✭✭✭✭✭✭a form always is entered on a new row in a sheet. You can use an update request to modify a row, or you can use some sort of field to reference correct values together when a form is submitted, but you cannot directly modify a row with a form.

There is no direct way to do this. Adding a checkbox helper column with something similar to this and then formatting based on the checkbox is the simplest way. You can even hide the extra column, as there is no reason for it to be visible.<\/p>
