How do I auto-save a sheet without opening the sheet?

I am having a similar issue.

I have a median metric widget that shows the incorrect data until I open the sheet it is pulling it from, save the sheet, & refresh the dashboard.

There is no conditional formatting on the Smartsheet.

I've developed a way to use the newly released Record a date <\/strong>feature to update sheets with today's date automatically without the need to open it or similar.<\/p>

1.<\/strong> Add a so-called helper column. (Date). We can call it Today Helper and add a date before the current day.<\/p>

2.<\/strong> You'd then use an Automation Workflow as described below.<\/p>

Trigger:<\/strong> When a date is reached<\/p>

Every day starting on 2021-01-06 (today or earlier)<\/em><\/p>

02:00 (select the time that makes the most sense for the process)<\/em><\/p>

Conditions<\/strong><\/p>

Where Today Helper<\/strong> is in the past<\/p>

Record a date<\/strong><\/p>

Record a date in Today Helper<\/p>
