在建立了拉Data from 1 Sheet into Another Sheet as a Drop Down
Hi All!
I have one base sheet of HR job posting with several descriptive column headers, and one of the columns is a Job ID number. Job ID numbers are hand-keyed and unique.
I have a second sheet of candidate names and I want to be able to select an active job ID to assign to that candidate from the original base sheet of job postings. I can see that I can link cells, but that's a straight 1:1 match and not what I need. I need to be able to select only from the Job IDs that exist, and multiple candidates may share that Job ID.
Essentially, I need to auto-populate a drop down list for the candidate sheet from the hand-keyed entries in the base sheet of job postings.
Any suggestions on how I can solve that? Since new jobs are being added all the time, I need the Job ID list in the second sheet for candidates to be pulling options in real time.

I'd recommend creating a report/filter to simplify to copy and paste it into the other sheet.

@Andrée Starå, we're currently in discussion to upgrade our plan to include that add-on along w/a list of others. Those discussions may take another few months though. Am I stuck until we have that completed, or is there any work around?
I thank you so much for your response - great to know we'll get the ability eventually w/that add-on (but kinda need a solution for the now if possible).

If you have API resources at hand, you could develop it in house, or there are some 3rd party options like API solutions built by independent businesses.

@Andrée Starå, unfortunately I expect no additional resources would be allocated in what the company would consider a short time frame until the add-ons are part of the plan. :( It sounds like I may be stuck for a bit w/the route I had in mind until we execute on that. Thank you for the feedback though - super helpful to know that it's coming soon at least.
