How to sum up a number of values with widgets
So I'm looking to create a widget that quickly shows me the number of times a value is represented. What I want to do is separate out a number of teams I have and see how many times each team has a "missing" value in it. I have rows broken down by team members. There's multiple columns, but their team name is one of them, and the status is another column which would be "missing" or "current". Basically, I want charts or summaries that give me a quick breakdown that shows me the number of "missing" from "team A" is 7. etc.

would you mind telling us a bit more about the structure (columns and their types) of the sheet you want the data to pull from?
Now I can only guess, the a combination of COUNTIF
in a Sheet Summary
could be the source for a Sheet Summary Report
that you can place on a dashboard.

So the columns I'd be pulling from are "team" and "status".
I want the widget to tell me the number of times the status column has the value "Current" for any given team. Team names would be "team a", "team b", etc.
IE -
Team a - 3
Team b - 1
Team c - 0
Team d - 6

Try something like this.(You could add it to the Sheet Summary section if you have access. That makes it easier to add the the metrics to the widget)
=COUNTIFS(Team:Team; "Team Name"; Status:Status; "Status Option")

My suggestion (tedious but effective) is to adjust the trigger to be daily (date based with custom selection of every 1 day) and run at a specific hour with the same conditions.<\/p>

Duplicate the workflow and adjust the hour to be the next hour. Duplicate again and adjust the hour.
