Row Copying Issue

Hi

I have a sheet, and in it there's a VLOOKUP to another sheet. I set a Copy Row Automation so that when the vlookup cell is filled, it should Copy the Row.

I setup the Wrokflow like this:

• Trigger: When a Row is Changed
• When: Changes to Any Value
• Run Workflow When Triggered

So, everything pulled into the sheet correctly via the VLOOKUP, but the Automation didn't trigger. I manually made an update to that field (the vlookup field it was pulling back was wrong), and THEN it triggered it to Copy the Row.

Any thoughts on a different way to set this up or what I did wrong? I thought about changing the Trigger to: When Rows is Added or Changed, but that shouldn't matter - I don't think that'll fix it. The only thing I can think of is maybe doing it on Modified Date, with the other field as a Condition??

It appears this may not be possible with cross sheet references (like Vlookup). See this article for similar issue posted back in May.

I have a Vlookup column that is showing a client status from a "master" grid. When I update the status on the master grid it will update the client status on the associated grid based on the Vlookup. That works fine. The problem is that both grids have an automated workflow that I am triggering that would move the applicable row based on the client status going to "cancelled". "Move a Row" can't be run on a delayed or daily basis, only upon triggering. With that instant trigger, the associated grid is then finding "#No Match", which makes sense. But even though in the workflow automation rules I can trigger based on a status of "#No Match" that doesn't actually trigger the moving of the row. The end goal is to move a cancelled client off our active grids that we work from.
