Calculate new start time for whole schedule
Hi there!
As an event organizer, I want to automatically update my schedule in smartsheet when a session takes longer than expected.
Column 1: Start Time (HH:MM)
Column 2: End Time (HH:MM)
Column 3: duration in minutes
Column 4: new start time (HH:MM)
how can I arrange a formula so that once entering a new start time in Column 4, the rest of the schedule changes? Basically, I need the exact functionality that is already there with start date, end date, duration and predecessor.
Thanks in advance!
Sascha

If this is a project sheet (i.e. using Smartsheet's project settings and functionality), you will not be able to put formulas in the duration or end date columns. You will need to make your changes manually.

With the symbols you are using, the options would typically be represented by the text entries [Empty, Quarter, Half, Three Quarter, Full]. In this case, this should work:

=IF(COUNTIF(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row), "Empty") = COUNT(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row)), "Not Started", IF(COUNTIF(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row), "Full") = COUNT(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row)), "Completed", "In Progress"))

If you do have your sheet setup somehow so that the entries are respresented by [0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1], then this should work:

=IF(COUNTIF(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row), < 0.25) = COUNT(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row)), "Not Started", IF(COUNTIF(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row), 1) = COUNT(CHILDREN([BallCell]@row)), "Completed", "In Progress"))

In either case, you will need to substitute [BallCell] with the name of the column with your symbols. The column name is not visible in your screenshot.

This is a complicated one that I once got to work with RGY balls, but cannot figure out how to apply this to the Pain scale emojis. Hi @MeganJF

I guess you forget to use AND( ).

For example,

- IF([Total Value to User Score]@row = <3.8, >4.7, "Mild,

should be

- IF(AND([Total Value to User Score]@row < 3.8, [Total Value to User Score]@row > 4.7), "Mild",

However, the following would be more straightforward.

- =IF([Total Value to User Score]@row >= 4.8, "No Pain",

- IF([Total Value to User Score]@row >= 3.8, "Mild",

- IF([Total Value to User Score]@row >= 2.8, "Moderate",

- IF([Total Value to User Score]@row >= 1.8, "Very Severe",

- IF([Total Value to User Score]@row < 1.8, "Extreme", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/72161/")))))

- IF(AND([Total Value to User Score]@row < 3.8, [Total Value to User Score]@row > 4.7), "Mild",
