Today number of days between a project start date and todays date

Hi All,

I have what I am sure to be a simple formula yet can't figure this out. I need a formula to calculate the number of days between the project start and today's date. So that every day I open the sheet that number will change pending days the project is still active/ open.

Thank You!

    Hi

Use the =today() in the cell and that will update everyday.

There are a number of formulas you can use. With using [Finish]-[Start] when I used 14 Oct as the start and 14 Oct as the finish the result was zero (0). Using netdays gave the answer of 1 which would mean you have spent one day on the project and that would probably be a better one to use (especially if these days are billed)

    Kind regards

The formula below will get what you need. With Smartsheet, you have to convert % to decimal values in formulas.

I assume you have a header or something similar in row 1, and that is why you are starting in row 2? If you designate rows, you must use it on the range to sum as well as the ranges to evaluate.

=SUMIFS([Actual Charges]2:[Actual Charges]60, [SOW Reference]2:[SOW Reference]60, "IPO PMO")

If you specify rows, those rows must also exist. If you want to evaluate all rows except for row 1, so specify [Actual Charges]2:[Actual Charges]2000, you will get an error if there are not 2000 rows in the sheet.

You should also be able to add additional conditions/rows to evaluate as well.

Having an issue with the Max formula.
