Can I Automate entering/erasing data from a cell?

Is there a way to set up an automation so the content of a cell can be changed when one or more criteria is met? I have a sheet where I'd like the cells in a particular column to be cleared at a certain time everyday. Is this possible?

    Hello@Lindsay P.,

    As of now, we do not have a dedicated method of automatically removing data based times. With this, you may wish to raise anEnhancement Request, and may see this in a future release of Smartsheet!

    You may wish to use something likeData Uploaderif you are going to automatically update these cells with new data.

    Although I'm unable to confirm this, it may be possible to clear the contents of a Column using a third party app such as Zapier

    You can do this with a move workflow and some time parsing. It would be a fairly complex solution that would require 2 sheets. I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't an advanced user, but if you want some more detail I would be happy to help.

There is no direct way to do this. Adding a checkbox helper column with something similar to this and then formatting based on the checkbox is the simplest way. You can even hide the extra column, as there is no reason for it to be visible.<\/p>
