An Admin deleted bucket

Web Master
edited 12/09/19 inArchived 2017 Posts

Saw a few threads regarding years of no action by SS to give the Admin the ability to restore deleted rows. My suggestion, why not allow users with edit rights to delete rows, but not

allow them to see the deleted items. This is where the admin will go when the team screams

that someone deleted a row or rows.

SharePoint has been doing this for years. When I get the 911 call, I laugh, and say one moment,

let me restore your rows. And sure enough the deleted rows from sharepoint are in the delete

items ready for me to restore them.

SS - C'mon man!! Admins have to sleep at night.

  • Hello—

We're currently working on a sheet history feature which will lead to a richer data recovery process. (We're hoping to get this out by the end of Q1 or beginning of Q2, but I don't have a specific timeframe for release.) Nonetheless, I've got your vote down for this feature to increase visibility of demand for our Product team.

I also wanted to let you know that I removed a few of the tags on your discussion to maintain the accuracy of the topic.

Replace [Employee] if your column has a difference name.
