Cell Linking from multiple sheets
Hello,
I am in the process of creating a main spreadsheet that will house information from other spreadsheets, that will house information submitted via forms. I'm having trouble linking data (when pulling from one spreadsheet into the main sheet. I know how to link cells, but if I create links in the main sheet prior to information being submitted via forms, the form data is entered on rows below where the cells are linked (on their respective sheets). This essentially stops data from being linked to the main sheet, since the rows where the form data is entered ends up not being linked. I'm sure it's user error - i just can't find what my error is. Any help will be appreciated!

Andrée Starå ✭✭✭✭✭✭Cell-linking doesn't work with rows that aren't created yet. You'd need to use cross-sheet formulas instead.

I watched something that noted if you have at least 2-3 rows above and/or below data, then Smartsheet will notice a pattern and automatically use the formula in the new row. Would this apply to cell linking as well?

No, unfortunately, it doesn't work for cell-links.
