I would like to hear some thoughts and insights about the Salesforce and Smartsheet integration from a customer that uses it.

    We've been using it for a few years now. Never had a problem. The interface to set it up is pretty straightforward and once you set up your workflow(s) then it's pretty hands-off and just does its thing in the background.

    Full disclosure, we've had our first issue with it not pulling over 2 jobs within the past week, but support is on it and should have an answer shortly. But in 3 years to only have these two jobs have a problem is pretty nice.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your feedback on the salesforce-Smartsheet connector.

    Actually one thing i wanted you to find out is about pricing , currently we pay a very high amount just for the connector(which sums up to about 40% of our total license costs) and i was wondering your thoughts about it and whether you ever examined other options such as Zapier etc. to do it with.

There currently isn't a way to overlay an Outlook Calendar on top of a Smartsheet Calendar; you can do the reverse, publish dates from Smartsheet into Outlook.<\/a><\/p>

You are not missing anything. This is how DV works with dropdowns unfortunately. My work around in the past is to create an other option in the drop down, user chooses save. Then have logic built for a text field that appears so the user can input the values not present in dropdown. <\/p>
