How record a date automation work?

Hi, I'm having trouble using the record a date automation.

as you can see in 1st picture, I create record a date when "send noti to slack" is checked

in 2nd picture, every change I made in that check box is from 25-Nov-2021 but record date show 24-Nov-2021

有人知道为什么吗?我有to do to make it record the day I check the box (25-Nov-2021)

What is the run workflow trigger? It might be set to "Daily" when it should be "When triggered".

It's probably a timezone issue, and you'd need a formula to correct it.

Yes, it's a timezone problem - I'm also UTC-5 and I first discovered it, just like you, when I noticed working formulas would return wrong value exactly at 7pm. Usually the timezone doesn't affect formulas except, for example, comparing the timezone date to Today() during the time period of UTC-0 until your timezone's midnight. So for the central timezone that's our 7pm-midnight.<\/p>

I have verified that the new Record a Date automation is based on actual time zone. This might be a workaround for you if you have a trigger that you can capture. The output of this automation is a date, not a date stamp (with time). Interestingly if one extracts the time from the datestamps it remains in the correct timezone - it's just the date portion that has affected my formulas.<\/p>
