Hide comments and attachments on calendar embedded on dashboard
I am creating a customized dashboard for all of our stakeholders to view events and trade shows within their region.
The main file is used by my team to plan all of these events and trade shows, so it has a lot of comments and attachments that I do not want to share with stakeholders. When I created a report to show the list of events, I was able to select the columns to display and hide the comments and attachments. However, when I embed the calendar using a Web Content widget, my end users can click on the calendar events and see the selected columns (which is perfect) along with all of the comments and attachments. Is there any way to hide comments and attachments from my end user?
I do not have Calendar App and my request to get it has not been approved. Any ideas for a workaround?
Thanks!

I'm on one of my reports right now that has attachments on the rows. I'm not seeing a way to hide the attachments (and/or comments) at the report level. How did you do that?

Hi@smb13
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Connect the main sheet to a so-called helper sheet, so there are no attachments/comments.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Hi@Mike TV
I hope you're well and safe!
If you right-click or click on the hamburger menu on the columns (Attachments, Conversations, and/or Proofs), you can hide them in the sheet and report.
I hope that helps!

@Andrée StaråThank you for the response!
I think a helper sheet could definitely work! I am fairly new to SS, is there a way to set it up to automatically pull all rows so I do not have to duplicate entering the data?

You would use the below for Jan 2023 and adjust the month and year numbers accordingly for each of the other months.

=IF(AND(MONTH([Start Date]@row)<= 1, YEAR([Start Date]@row)<= 2023, MONTH([End Date]@row)>= 1, YEAR([End Date]@row)>= 2023), [$ per month]@row)

Lets try a different approach.

=IF(AND(VALUE(YEAR([Start Date]@row) + IF(MONTH(Start Date]@row)< 10, "0", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/98778/") + MONTH([Start Date]@row))<= 202307, VALUE(YEAR([End Date]@row) + IF(MONTH([End Date]@row)< 10, "0", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/98778/") + MONTH([End Date]@row))>= 202307), [$ per month]@row)
Basically we are creating a yyyymm stamp from the start and end dates and comparing them to the yyyymm stamp for that year/month combo. The above is for July 2023 (202307).
