Formula with COUNTIF and Checkbox

I have this working formula:

="Unit 2G is " + ROUND((COUNTIF([Unit Name]:[Unit Name], "2G") / 14) * 100) + "% Completed"

2G could also be 3G, 4H, and 2H. (Dropdown selection list)

I have a checkbox column named: "Task Completed?"

How would I use the working formula to not do the calculation until the checkbox is "Checked"

Thanks

    Hi Daniel,

Try something along the line of.

    =IF([Task Completed]@row= 1; "Unit 2G is " + ROUND((COUNTIF([Unit Name]:[Unit Name]; "2G") / 14) * 100) + "% Completed")

The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.

    =IF([Task Completed]@row= 1, "Unit 2G is " + ROUND((COUNTIF([Unit Name]:[Unit Name], "2G") / 14) * 100) + "% Completed")

Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

    Did it work?

    Have a fantastic week!

    Best,

You could also use the countifs formula to do something like this

    ="Unit 2G is " + ROUND((COUNTIFS([Unit Name]:[Unit Name], "2G",[Task Completed]:[Task Completed],1) / 14) * 100) + "% Completed"

Double check your cross sheet references. Make sure they are all single columns by clicking on the appropriate column header.

When doing this, give the sheet a little time to load before selecting the column. Sometimes moving too fast allows you to select a column header before the sheet fully loads in the creator window. Then when the sheet does finally completely load in, the selection automatically reverts to the home cell (top right corner). Hi @Sam Swain,

You should be able to use this formula to accomplish this:

=IF(HAS([Type of Project]@row, "Consolidation"), "🝢", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/comment/") + IF(HAS([Type of Project]@row, "Reduction"), "︾", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/comment/") + IF(HAS([Type of Project]@row, "New"), "○", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/comment/") + IF(HAS([Type of Project]@row, "Termination"), "⨷", "//www.santa-greenland.com/community/discussion/comment/")

Example output:

"image.png"

Hope this helps - if there are any issues etc. then just post! ☺️

https://community.smartsheet.com/api/v2/discussions?page=2&categoryID=322&includeChildCategories=1&type%5B0%5D=Question&excludeHiddenCategories=1&sort=-hot&limit=3&expand%5B0%5D=all&expand%5B1%5D=-body&expand%5B2%5D=insertUser&expand%5B3%5D=lastUser&status=accepted
">
