Automatic Workflow for multiple rows
Hi there ,
I would like to learn that , when we crreate an automatic workflow system taking action based on one row , i want that at the same time system will take action for all the rows with one alert.
For example imagine that , there are 3 rows with materials and delivery dates column ( 2 column just ) . I created a workflow that works when the delivery date is changed .When i change the delivery dates for 3 rows at the same time , system is sending alerts with seperated 3 mail based on row ..Is there any way to take in one mail that 3 row’s changing alert ?

It can't be anything else when there are more than than one action in an Approval Request.

- The following actions cannot be used with Run workflow: set to Hourly, Daily, or Weekly, Record a Date, Move Rows, Copy Rows, Lock rows, Unlock Rows, andApproval requests contain subsequent actions.

Are you using the placeholder feature?
If you change the Runworkflow setting to anything else, thenWhen triggered, it will group the notification, but then the placeholder feature won't work.
Would that work?

Ok.
Then you can change the Run workflow setting to something else, but When triggered and it should work.

thanks@Andrée Starå, i understood now ,but i tried it for the approval workflow but system says that for approval only "triggered " is working . Is thre any way for approval workfloe to take groupped approvals

I'm not sure I understand the goal. If you want to see the days between two column, you will need to already have a date in each of those columns. This seems to contradict stopping the count once one of the columns is populated. The Created (date) field is not the issue in this instance. The problem is the data in your Invoiced Date column is actually text strings instead of date values.<\/p>

Try putting this into a date type column and using this new column in place of the Invoiced Date column in your original formula.<\/p>

Double check that you are putting it in a date type column. Can you also provide a screenshot of those same rows with the errors but also showing the Invoiced Date? It is working for me.<\/p>
