Can you add an image to a form?
I'm creating a form to ask each customer for information about how they want to create their new End-User Portal that needs to be custom branded with many elements on the site. It's much easier for the customer to get an idea of what we are looking for if we can include an image of the site itself with some arrows and text pointing to what we are looking for.
Is there any way to embed these types of images into the form to help them fill it out?

I don't think think this is possible in Smartsheet (yet).
Google Forms has an add-in that syncs submissions into a Smartsheet sheet. Google forms as a lot more flexibility to do what you described above.

I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now to include a picture in a form, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Embed the form in a Dashboard/Portal and add the pictures/form side by side.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!

@Neil沃森- Good to know, I may consider that in the future.
@Andrée Starå- I like your approach, and for a form that doesn't change much this would probably be the perfect solution. The challenge we have is that the form is only used once, so it wouldn't be worth the time and effort to build a new dashboard each time we want a form filled out.

I am very much interested in this.
On one of my SmartSheets, I have created a daily to do list with check boxes for all equipment. Then form allows the techs to walk around and verify the AV room technology is working properly. Should there be a problem, I have them check a box. The box emails the team in charge of the to a problem. A picture would assist further.
Has this been updated? Any fix as yet?
Thank you!

I suspect many users would really like this feature, even if it hasn't been upvoted much. Many other forms applications offer this.

So I can insert pics directly into a sheet, but only upload a single group of randomly disorganized attachments though a form? Very inconvenient, and surprised as other platforms have possessed this ability for years.
I need to be able to upload a single (multiple would be nice) picture file per field according to the title that field is given. For instance "Front View" (attaches front view pic); "Rear View" (attaches rear view pic)

We need this functionality also.
Users of the forms should be able to take a photo in a field without attaching it to the role.
In a Template Sheet called "Barcode Inventory Management" (Screenshot attached) a similar feature can be found in a field called "Barcode Image". However, using the Form does NOT allow users to take a photo into a field.
At the moment users would have to be given access to the main sheet to be able to add a screenshot or photo to a field and not as an attachment which is not the best.
I hope this gets fixed quickly.
Thanks.

Has there been any update from the development team on this? I am trying to make a safety form, but the "header" columns are capped and I cant put the full text of data in it. So I was hoping to "snip" portions of our hard copy and emed that into the form.
