Automatically capturing the name/ user who completed a form
I have created a form that needs to capture who filled it out. Currently I am having the person fill in their name. I am wondering if there is a way in forms to have the person automatically capture? That way they don't need to fill that in.

On your grid, insert two system columns - 1 for Created (date), the other for Created By (Insert column, properties = auto number / system)
Now, enable the option for signing in to Smartsheets on the form settings

Hi there,
Is there any way to show/bring existing(filled) form, if the form filled by the user in same day. So, they can edit the form they filled the same day, but the following day it'll be a fresh form.
Kind Regards!

I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Have them submit the form and then trigger an automated update request that they can use to edit the data.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

There currently isn't a way to overlay an Outlook Calendar on top of a Smartsheet Calendar; you can do the reverse, publish dates from Smartsheet into Outlook.<\/a><\/p>
