I've discovered an infuriating bug (?) or complication with dealing with automations in smartsheets.
I have a variety of automations in a key sheet that have email alerts for certain contacts. in these emails I have a link, specifically to a dynamic view but that is irrelevant, that I am trying to copy out of the body of the email and into a separate document. I can highlight the link and copy it, either by using ctrl+c or by right-clicking for the dropdown and selecting 'copy', but when I go to paste it [again using either meathod], all I get is the previous thing I'd copied. I went back and paid close attention when doing the copying and found that the act of selecting copy [by either means] deselects me out of the text box, undoing my highlighting and therefore, I think, copying nothing.
Is this just a me thing or a known complication with text in automations? I've been having this problem for a few days now and restarting my computer doesn't seem to help. Frankly, I'd be happy with confirmation that other people are having a similar problem, as I can work around it.
I think this may be an issue with your email application. I'm using Outlook 365 and can Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V the entire body of Smartsheet notification emails out with no issues.
Some companies may lock down this functionality for security purposes.

Have you been seeing issues with Edge? Our network/PC overlords prevent us from auto-updating Chrome through Chrome, so I've been using (the Chromium-based) Edge more and more for Smartsheet. Aside from the occasional memory leak, I've been impressed with its handling of Smartsheet.

Beyond the aforementioned memory leak, I have the occasional problem where all my smartsheet tabs will conk out all at once and continue to re-kill themselves until I restart my browser. Not sure if that's memory leak related, or not but I've never had this problem on chrome. Then again I could never have so many tabs open on chrome so I guess everything's roughly evened out.
I have the same issue from time to time, usually happens when I have a lot of tabs open in both Edge and Chrome plus a bunch of Excel windows and emails, etc. You're not alone! But as far as how it handles Smartsheet's usability, I have no problems there.

Add a \"Created By\" column in your sheet and turn on \"Required smartsheet login to access your form\" in your form setting. So that whoever fills out the form, their email id will be automatically captured in \"created by\" column. This will replace your \"Requestor Name\" column. <\/p>
