Looking for solution to add Outlook calendar invite information to Smartsheet

We want to create a Smartsheet that is automatically populated with Subject, Location, Date, Time, Duration when we invite an alias to a meeting. Is anyone aware of a way to do this?
我们所有的项目我们会这样做/program meetings to help us provide corporate visibility to the meetings and attempt to avoid scheduling conflicts.
From this Smartsheet we could add additional information like meeting notes and action items and build reports that are then individual project/program calendars for folks to be able to view only events they are interested in.

I hope you're well and safe!
We could probably structure this with a 3rd-party service like Zapier or similar.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hi Andrée,
I was thinking it would most likely need a 3rd party like Zapier or Microsoft Power Automate. (For a production level solution Power Automate would probably be the route I would need to go as it's already through our IT approved applications.) If you've got Zapier ideas, I'm all ears!
Thanks for your response.
Best,
Brandon

@Andrée StaråI am looking to do a form for people to register if they want to attend a training. I have created a meeting in outlook and would like to paste the invite link into a cell as the default when someone submits the form. I then have an automation to send an alert to the contact cell with the meeting invite field for them to click and save it to their outlook calendar. The problem is, how do I get the iCalendar link to put in the meeting invite field in smartsheet?

I'm looking to do this exact same thing - any information on this?

Does this work for you? On the form settings you can put the link to your calendar invite into the confirmation message:

@Mike TVthis is a great idea - thank you!

I do something similar and have the link pulled from a separate sheet where we house the event information. The event link is added to a column on the event data sheet. I then use formulas to pull over which event and the appropriate data to the registration sheet. When they register, they receive either a confirmation email or a waitlist email depending on how many seats are still available. The confirmation email has the link and instructs them to download and save to their calendar.

@Heather_VerdeI'd be interested in seeing how you set up your event registration sheet + your event data sheet. Could you share a screenshot without any records so we can see your columns and such? Or perhaps a Miro/Mural screenshot of the flow? This is something high on our interest as well.

@Patrick_CFAI will put something together and get back to you.

Thanks, Tim, for replying. Yes, I read more on the community about and found the same workaround....I already applied it.<\/p>
(my users are floor workers and works in the shift-only issue here is they don't check emails that often.) so this workaround has limitation in this case. But I'll mark this close as, no actual solution available in Smartsheet.<\/p>"}]}},"status":{"statusID":3,"name":"Accepted","state":"closed","recordType":"discussion","recordSubType":"question"},"bookmarked":false,"unread":false,"category":{"categoryID":321,"name":"Smartsheet Basics","url":"https:\/\/community.smartsheet.com\/categories\/smartsheet-basics%2B","allowedDiscussionTypes":[]},"reactions":[{"tagID":3,"urlcode":"Promote","name":"Promote","class":"Positive","hasReacted":false,"reactionValue":5,"count":0},{"tagID":5,"urlcode":"Insightful","name":"Insightful","class":"Positive","hasReacted":false,"reactionValue":1,"count":0},{"tagID":11,"urlcode":"Up","name":"Vote Up","class":"Positive","hasReacted":false,"reactionValue":1,"count":0},{"tagID":13,"urlcode":"Awesome","name":"Awesome","class":"Positive","hasReacted":false,"reactionValue":1,"count":0}],"tags":[{"tagID":204,"urlcode":"forms","name":"Forms"},{"tagID":254,"urlcode":"formulas","name":"Formulas"}]},{"discussionID":110349,"type":"question","name":"Need to check and uncheck a box based on a percentage being above 0 and less than 100.","excerpt":"I have been trying different variations of the below but it always errors out until I start checking boxes and when the percentage reaches 100 the box is still checked.
