Smartsheet Fails Often

And it really annoys me. Wasted four hours of my life today on a simple INDEX(MATCH()) for no reason.

Here is my source sheet:

Source.PNG

Here is my destination sheet:

Destination.PNG

Here is my cross sheet formula:

=INDEX({JOB_QuoteNo}, MATCH([Draft ID]@row, {JOB_DraftID}, 0))

And yes, the cross sheet references are mapped correctly. About once an hour Smartsheet agrees with me and populated the column correctly, for about 2 minutes, then reverts back to nonsense.

My options from what I gather are

a) Come on here and ask for a solution, and and ask for answers to an unanswerable question

b) Log a ticket with "Support" and wait two weeks for them them to fob me off with vague statements about complexity and no solutions.

I'm going with option A, any ideas folks?

In my experience this crap happens often and really isn't good enough.

Cheers.

    You can use this formula. The formula will count rows where priority is high and status is not completed.

    @Matthew Drake

    If you wanted to build a nested IF statement, you would add RYG ball Symbol column and use a formula something like this:

    =IF(AND(TODAY() > [Knowledge/SJT/MCQ/Skills Test Date & Time]@row, ISBLANK([Knowledge Test Result]@row)), "Red", IF(AND(TODAY() > [Project / Showcase Portfolio]@row, ISBLANK([Project / Showcase Portfolio Results]@row)), "Red", "Green"))

    You could keep building this out to evaluate all of your date / result fields, but you could run into issues where a date is not yet entered.

https://community.smartsheet.com/api/v2/discussions?page=2&categoryID=322&includeChildCategories=1&type%5B0%5D=Question&excludeHiddenCategories=1&sort=-hot&limit=3&expand%5B0%5D=all&expand%5B1%5D=-body&expand%5B2%5D=insertUser&expand%5B3%5D=lastUser&status=accepted
">
