Reminder alert - can not get to work
Hi there hoping someone can help.
I am wanting the alert to trigger 60 days before the date column and to hit a user that is in a contact field (shown above). The -60 is a Net days formula showing me the days before expiry.
Below is how I have set my automation to run - this is not the only solution I have attempted. Just can not seem to get it to work.
Can anyone help??

Hi Trav,
Your workflow seems to be properly set up. If the user is not getting the email, it could be due to Automation Settings. The default setting is "Restricted", which means that only users who are shared to the sheet will get the notifications. Change it to "Unrestricted" or "Limited".

Ensure you've checked theSheet Change Notification Settingsbox toInclude my changes in sheet notificationsin your Personal Settings (circle/profile in the lower-left corner). Also, check the Permission setting for the Automation. (cog in the top right corner in the Automation overview)

Currently I have done the following:
1 - changed the date on the row shown on the image to equal 60
2 - changed the time for the automation to fire
3 - deactivated the original automation, and configured a replica
4 - changed the date on different rows to equal 60
5 - Use the 'Run Now' function on the automation
6 - change settings in automation to test all types - e.g. restricted, limited etc
I have not tried another user yet, but trying to avoid that first :)

You're more than welcome!
Try duplicating the Workflow and test again.
If it doesn't work, try changing the trigger to a checkbox or something similar so we can first make sure that it works that way.

Thanks again for reaching out, checked the automation based upon a checkbox and seems to work okay see screen snippets below.
Looks like this one works - I wonder if it is how the 60 days or less trigger has been configured - is there another way that you would configure the alert?
