This is amazing. Without creativity, we'd be locked in the dark ages, using a stick to make lines in the dust. Creativity moved us from that to chiseling on rocks then on to the discovery of making paper and ink, and look where we are now - running companies with our teams who are everywhere in the world. Creativity has been a driving force behind every new idea and continuous improvement project. Ever.

And to think - we haven't even start talking about music and art yet.

As a US citizen, I love hearing about entities around the world that are helping children as they learn and grow.

Education is vital, but so is creativity. Too often the need for creativity - especially the arts - is downplayed. But allowing creative juices to flow opens up a part of the brain that releases those really good hormones such as serotonin.

Thank you, Steam Co, for helping raise funds so these kids can let their imaginations soar!

Creativity is part of what makes each of us unique, without creativity we would not have SMARTSHEET or the amazing discoveries that people have made. Creativity unlocks the power of one's own mind and potential and as@Joseph Aloysiasmentioned "speaks louder than words". It is also why opportunities for kids to be creative is so important - gets them off the couch, away from the screens and open their minds up to what is possible. I love what STEAM.co (and others like them) are doing. After all, kids are our future, we need to help them harness the power that is within them!!

Creativity helps us learn and become better. We might know one way to accomplish something, but using our creativity helps us learn new ways to do that same thing. An example we see in children is when they use items in ways we never intended, like when we would take scrap plywood that is supposed to be used for building walls and make a ramp for our bicycles to jump.
