I find Smartsheet formulas tend to be much longer than Excel because of the way Smartsheet constructs them. The longer the formula, the harder it is to troubleshoot. Sometimes I find it easier to do 1 IF statement per column, and then have a final column to roll up results. I hide my interim columns.

I must be missing something because I found cloning to be a pointless activity. I still have to practically redefine everything. What's the status on the functionality requested here?

I use the method Craig recommended. It's a little clunky, because it adds another column, but it works. I helps with update forms and reports.

Agree with other posters this functionality is a high priority. I spend a lot of time on Update Requests. In addition to creating default forms that allow for defaulting Subject and message > Allow column selection to display to be defaulted in the form too. I add a lot of PM-related columns that recipients don't need to…

There's a giant gap in the transfer process. If Person A leaves the group, his or her workspaces may be doled out to several people. There's no process to selectively choose how to transfer projects. It's all or nothing.

This whole transfer process is cumbersome. I created a workspace that currently has 25 sheets I also own. I'm in process of transitioning the workspace to a new project mgr to own. I want to transfer ownership of 1 workspace and all the sheets owned by me. I do not want to transfer all the multitude of sheets I've created…

Having functionality to allow global selections for workspaces like global alert preferences and update requests seems like a no-brainer to me. For larger projects having lots of sheets, having to set alert preferences is tedious. The workspace owner have an option to set up to allow global preferences and then allow…

I set up conditional formatting in the grid view that impacts an entire row. For example: If a cell in the Status column is Great = green, Good = yellow, and Improve = red. When I convert from grid view to cards, the color card matches the row. However, when I add a new card from card view and select status, the card color…

What's the status of this? It's pretty basic to Excel and should be here too. Creating a new set of conditions for each column that are the same as other columns is tedious. I should be able to set multiple columns to apply any condition too.

Agree. The whole point of a dashboard is to visualize data. Not having capabilities for charting misses the mark by a wide margin.
