I figured it out. I must have dates and it be a Gnatt chart. I don't always use a Gnatt charts. But once created I can change to grid.

Same error. I have three sheets imported with budgets for three categories. The sum function continues to reference the imported data's original sheet name. Removed this in the formula and it works.

How to input that =max[ ] function for specific rows under a column? For example, display the max date for column Actual Date in rows 19:27. This would be input in a parent row. The sheet has a different set of dates (Start Date) with dependencies applied.
