If you right click on the workspace, select "create new" at the top and a new folder will be the option. This will create a new folder within your workspace and you can just drag and drop any sheets you have into those.

I don't believe conditional formattng can hide columns. Are you creating a web form for these surveys? I've done a few surveys for random things, pizza actually being one of them, and web forms seemed to work the best. I grouped the nested follow up questions with the main question into sections. We use different date and contact column types and its nice that they show up on the card in card view, but without knowing what that date represents or what that name on the card is assigned to, its kind of pointless. If someone manually checks the box, the formula will be overwritten, there is no way around that. If you wish to keep the formula there, I would lock the checkbox column and have people only update the harvey ball column or vice versa.

I think it really depends on what columns you wish to view while you are viewing the Gantt chart. Then what i would do is arrange your column layout to have those columns you wish to view on the far left all next to each other so you can drag your Gantt screen to the edge of the data.
