Having the same issue even when the formula return column is formatted with the allowed contacts in the column formatting. The match/index/collect refuses to work.

Smartsheet needs to update its data visualization suite. These workarounds will force users to move to different platforms. I still believe SmartSheet is the most dynamic, but the reporting and dashboarding is very limited.

Please release this feature enhancement soon! Hard to imagine a report exported in a format different than what is displayed. We are having to move these reports to excel, :(
