Authorize Smartsheet and Resource Management accounts

To use the Smartsheet panel for Resource Management, you must first authorize the connection between Smartsheet and Resource Management.

Any user who is both aSysAdminin Smartsheet and aResourcing AdmininResource Managementcan authorize the account connection.

Find out if this capability is included inSmartsheet RegionsorSmartsheet Gov.

  1. Login toResource Management.
  2. Navigate toSettings>Account Settings.
  3. Select theConnect to Smartsheetbutton.
  4. Log in with your Smartsheet SysAdmin credentials and Allow Access to your Smartsheet account.

For trial accounts, be sure you have configured an organization name for your Smartsheet account.

The Resource Management Panel for Smartsheet is not supported with Resource Management sandbox environments

Adding users to Resource Management

Before you can use the panel, you’ll need to configure people in your Resource Management account. Learn how toadd users to your Resource Management account.

Users must have an email address that matches between Smartsheet and Resource Management to be managed in the integration.
